Rolls Royce enters EV with the Spectre coup. Dual motors give 577 horsepower to hit 60 in 4.2 seconds and the 102 kw battery provides between 260 and 290 miles of range. But this car is all about super-premium, highest of the high-end fit and finish. Starts at $425K.

That thing is all about sex appeal. The stats are worse than most EV trucks. It's a damn good looking car though.

EV charging stations will eventually become as common and easily found as a gas station. If you refuse to set any up, look forward to becoming another town that no one stops at to shop/recharge/recoup while travelling. Go ahead, let the future pass you by and you'll end up like countless little nowheres along Route 66.
