His age is also a factor. Most 24 year olds are entering their 3rd or 4th season. Like every
pick, time will tell.
Just doesn't feel forward thinking with how dline around the league are trying to get faster and leaner with bigger emphasis on attacking on every down while trying to get linebacker to clean up run support.

Great looking pick!
Boyd (6’2/329) possesses ideal size for an interior lineman and is not moved easily off his spot. He’s a six-year prospect who is among the older players in the class and will be 24 at the start of this season, making him one of the older prospects in the draft. Boyd is a solid+ run stopper who has shown an ability to take on multiple blockers and also tallied 10.5 sacks for his career. Per Pro Football Focus, he totaled 40 pressures in 2023. Boyd could earn a roster spot as added depth against the run, but his development as a pass rusher suggests there’s an added element to his game that can be tapped into.
Maybe Trevor needs a friend to be productive

I'd rather choices from Power schools, but Khristian Boyd, whoever you are, you go to camp as if you are the boss of the line.

Whoever doesn’t like/love this pick is a kinda “sus” person
My only concern is age. A 24 year old should dominate a 20 year old. That's just natural. He'll be playing
against fully grown men now. Time will tell.

I don't know how to feel about this.

Hope reporters ask that same question after they get into a fight in training camp. Wonder he is going to say the same thing. 😂

His short wingspan and arm length at defensive tackle is going to be an issue.
With all due respect that doesn't make much sense. Arm length is important for playing on the outside but significantly less important on the inside.

That's exactly why college tackles with short arms all move inside.

Fiske was drafted high 2nd with shorter arms.

Just keep in mind that old man strength is a thing so DTs who rely more heavily on power take time to develop. This a project.....not a Roach replacement.

just happy they drafted a true nose tackle and not another tweener we have enough of those
