Primus will do a Rush tribute tour (1 Viewer)

How old were the guitars?

DAdarrio nylon string from 1979, first guitar, love the bass note pop. Still have it and still play it…perfect for the intro to Farewell to Kings….

Ovation acoustic/electric, rarely plug it in, 1982….bought it barely used not sure how old but probably 1980ish….still have it, still play it….

Stratocaster 1984….still have it, still play it….Thanks for asking

Not to cast any aspersions, can someone explain to me what is so amazing about Rush? I never got it.

i mean, they are pretty talented musicians...

i was never really into them but seeing Primus play their music definitely gave me a new appreciation for it

Everyone hears music differently, I have friends that aren't fans and thats cool.....While Rush has a pretty broad appeal, I think most of the progressive rock bands (Rush, Yes, Genesis, PF, etc) core fans are also musicians or at least have played an instrument at some time.....
