Nakia Hogan:Buckley played decent against the run last season, but I don't know if he's big enough or willing to be a 3-4, 2-gap NT in the 3-4 scheme. I think Cam Jordan and Hicks will have a chance to fit comfortably into Ryan's plans. Not sure about the others.
Ngythe1king:In your opinion, which position should the Saints draft in the 1st round? and which player of that position should the Saints draft?
Nakia Hogan:Definitely OLB, especially since they are moving to the 3-4. The OLB position in the 3-4 is probably the most important position on the field. Come draft day, the Saints will have some options.
If LSU's Kiki Mingo drops to them, I'd snatch him. I also like FSU's B. Werner and Texas A&M's D. Moore. But they'll likely be gone. All are DEs who could transition to OLB in the 3-4 scheme.
