Because he's not a rookie and he's crazy quick like a cat, man.
Last thing you want to do is put Collison in what with him not being able to handle our supremely complicated defensive and offensive schemes and all

I was saying this in preseason....or...I'm ok with the fact that Collison isn't ready, yet, and that we have to play Brown...but does he REALLY need to be the guy that has the green light to shoot? We either need Thornton to blossom, Peja AND Mo-Pete to find the Fountain of Youth, or try to trade for someone that can hit the three.
Without one of those, all the pressure will be on our post players....like tonight.

guy takes the worst shots, can't pass, and runs a horrible break.
as long as we're gonna be bad lets play the rookies and rebuild..trade guys and start anew..
its going to take a team implosion and paul losing his temper and speaking out for this junk to stop. scott has to go . has no ability to make adustments, can't develop talent. can't motivate for crap......and his basketball IQ for designing plays around talent is not good. all we have is paul bailing us out. or kicking out to peja. we need to run an offense that involves less dribbling, more cutting and passing. and get rid of some of these unathletic stiffs....stopping renewing their contracts, starting wth scott

It's his prerogative.

Yeah it seems we are just in an awkward stage right now player wise. We have a few good players to where we don't want to go into complete rebuilding mode, but we can't seem to get a good enough supportive cast to where we can benefit from those players. It seems as if it is going to have to come down to trading one of our good players eventually and start from there.

Byron Scott has had the good fortune of having Jason Kidd in his prime as New Jersey and with Chris Paul here in New Orleans to make his slightly above average intelligence look halfway decent.
Some pro HC's can fall into a great situations with teams who have superstar talent and win and it inflates their actual abilities, some other team picks them up, and they finally witness their new HC being exposed and seeing there season turn into a train wreck

how many wide open looks does a guy have to brick in order for a coach not to rely on him in clutch time?
yeah he can handle the ball and is quick but the guy is a liability as a spot up shooter...why design plays with him as that option....tell that idiot to pump fake and drive it...that's a coach's prerogative...

I thought the same things about Brown. But he is much better than Devin Brown! Psh
I liked Bobby Browns emotion and his points off the bench! He had a big 3 in overtime. I liked what I saw off the bench. But yes, he shouldnt take as many shots and choose to run the offense instead. He will learn.. He has Chris Paul on his side.. Whats better than that!?

Would y'all agree that he is more Pargo, so far, than Daniels?
