Gave us a season to remember. Just the simple fact that when the game started I started shaking. I started having anxiety. I've never experienced those things during a game before.
Thank You Saints!!!!!!
I couldn't have asked for a better season. With a few pieces, we will be back in this game again next season. That way, they will no longer be able to call us the feel good story and we will just be a good football team!
Here is to 07' and 08'!
Thank you Saints for a magical season!!! Payton got the most he could out of the players he had. Another off season and draft will bring in more playmakers. The future is looking very bright!!!!!!!
Great season, better than I could have ever expected. Thank you for giving us hope this year and for the years to come. Hell, I would've been happy if the only game we won was against Atl in the home opener. 2007 will be ours!
I like to Thank the Saints also. This has been a "words can not even describe" type of season and I htnka every single player, coach, and, yes even the fron office on a magnificent season. They have been able to revert my attention from many of the stresses in my everyday life and that deserves a thousand thankyous.
In addition, I give a great amount of credit to the Bears play, though I will be rooting for the Colts if they make it to the SB.
Thanks to each and EVERY player on this team. I know you all played as hard as you possibly could and gave the team everything you had all year long. I'm proud of each and every one of you.
Just think, this team was not expected to even have a winning season, let alone win their division and finish just one game out of the superbowl. I know I was thinking, after the preseason, that this team just wasn't good enough to win a lot of games. Boy was I wrong!! This team, with this coach and this core of players, will contend year in and year out.
BEST season ever and one we all should be proud of. These Saints are a team of character and the best is before us. No complaints, only disappointment in how we lost today!
for starting pre-season #4 in the Division and finishing #2 in the NFC Conference. Now is not the time to hang our heads. It's time to understand the things that have to be improved upon to get further in the Game.Thank you for the things that were accomplished off the feild as well. Let us count the good things now and give the Bears their due.
Would love to hear more of the individual stories these Saints have accomplished in your daily lives.
At the risk of a banning all these debbie downers can just delete their accounts as far as Im concerned. This was the greatest Saints season ever period. Lots at we accomplished, and we will only get better.
Im gonna go celebrate this season by popping open a bottle of champaenge and get ma drank on
We need to be out there to show how thankful we are for all that they have done this year. Let's show up in force. All this talk about join dates, post counts, and bandwagon fans is a moot point. Tonight will show who the true fans are. BE THERE TO TELL THEM THANK YOU!
Here are directions with a map link courtesy of jahsoul:
Directions (lengthy):
Take Vets past Williams, past Airport Access Rd... then past Virginia. Bainbridge is a left-turn only street. If you miss it, turn left onto Lexington then again on Danville, it'll run you right back into Bainbridge. Turn left on Bainbridge. Bainbridge turns you through some industrial buildings and warehouses and eventually runs alongside the runway with open grass on both sides. There is plenty of room for Saints fans on Bainbridge to park on the side of the road... about 30 or so yards of grass on both sides. DO NOT go to the main airport. They park and leave from a private terminal... American Aviation at the end of Bainbridge.
Directions (short):
Go down Vets away from city, pass up Williams Blvd. and Airport Access Rd. Take a left on Bainbridge. Go Straight, past the gate until you see all of the Saints fans. Park on the shoulder of the road.
Location (Visual):
The white square towards the bottom left is where we all meet up.
Not the way I wanted it to end but it was a great year, ecspecially since we were predicted to be in the cellar of the NFC South.
Way to go Saints and just wait till next year!!!!!!!
Lovie Smith is indeed a better coach than I thought. He teaches stripping the ball, there is nothing wrong with that, in fact there is everything right with it. The Saints were out coached more than anything else. Lovie Smith new the Saints weaknesses and he attacked them. The Saints situation in the secondary should be Numero UNO on the off-season list of things to do. Fred Thomas has lost it and has to go. Josh Bullocks, I'm not giving up on yet, but he had better improve early next season...or else.
