Well, obviously you don't wear them with shorts.
Besides, you have to imagine those with a Saints' gold strap and a sweet FDL.

Actually, at the moment I'm wearing Clarks. I stopped judging what people wear sometime shortly after high school. I've since taken up judging those who judge what people wear. It's a much cooler form of social criticism.
I do own two sets of crocs. They look like this:

yeah but they dont have to be that ugly just in the name of comfort.
im on my feet for half of my workday, sometimes all of it when we are very busy or my techs dont show up for work. i have comfortable work shoes with non-slip soles, and they look like pumas. the company that makes them also makes croc lookalikes, and guess what? its the same insole and sole on both shoes.

You guys take this stuff too seriously sometimes. It's a message board.. It's not like I'm out making fun of someone in public and yelling at them abouty their clothes. I couldn't care less, however I do think those things are retardedly ugly and I always enjoy the pro/anticroc threads.
Those are really, really ugly shoes btw.

The shoes are much, much, much worse than the flips-flops. While the flops aren't that great, they aren't that bad either. But the shoe ones, terrible!

I'm just having fun too. I always feel compelled to point out the absurdity of the anti-croc threads whenever they come up. I think they are great shoes for kids. As for me, it's always function over fashion.
You want to talk about ugly shoes...I bet you grew up wearing penny loafers.

They're actually rather dangerous. There have been elevator accidents and such. I woudn't have a kid wearing them.

Put your kid in gymnastics or some other coordination building activity. My kid climbs trees to retrieve coconuts wearing them.

Im not much of a slave to fashion, but the combination of jorts, crocks and a tucked in jersey would be a major fashion faux pas.

I don't have any kiddos. And I'm so uncoordinated, I'd feel very sorry for any kid of mine.
