Nick Saban
Is it just me or is anyone else kind of upset that Nick Saban went to Alabama? First off, when he left LSU two years he said he wanted to coach in the NFL. LSU was willing to pay him whatever he wanted to stay. He said no, that he didnt want to coach at the college level anymore. Then two weeks ago he keeps denying that he his going to Alabama. Whats up with this guy? And now he is going to coach against LSU every year? I am kind of miffed at him now. Anyway, I like the job Les Miles is doing now. What a game LSU had last night.

UPSET? F* that a---hole...
Nick Saban leaving LSU for 2 years, then bailing on Miami for Tuscalooser is like your girlfriend breaking up with you, then start dating a guy the 2 of you used to make fun of together.
I would never criticize a guy for taking a job for more money or to better himself, but to market yourself as a guy who gets the job done then to play this shell game with jobs in the manner he has at Toledo, Michigan State, LSU, and now Miami is bushleague. In 5 to 6 years, when his A-Rod of college football contract his ordinary and Dallas, Penn State, John Curtis, or any other high profile job becomes available, Alabama fans will know how it feels to be lied to by Slick Nick.
I'd love to hear his recruiting pitch to 17 and 18 year old recruits and their families. Every other school in the South is going to remind these guys of his tendency to job hop and lie to people. The tapes are there to prove it.
Saban had his chance to be great, people threw rose petals when he walked down S. Stadium Dr. At LSU, he could have hand picked the players from arguably the most football rich part of the earth in Louisiana, but he gave that up and stepped down in class with Ala-freaking-bama.
On November 3, 2007, Saban can bet his *** that me along with 15,000+ other Tiger fans are headed to Tuscalosa to remind him of his mistakes when Les Miles and LSU comes to town off a BCS victory and a top 5 recruiting class (including the names of 5 star recruits: Joe McKnight, Chad Jones, and Terrance Tolliver) to beat him down with the program he built.
Sorry for the rant...Where's the Tylenol?

No thats OK. I feel the same way. Just wanted to be sure that I was not alone in this. I agree. If he were getting a promotion to better himself, sure. Thats one thing. But to go from LSU to Alabama is a step down. Why leave LSU at all then? I hope LSU beats his arse when we play them next year,
And, I hope you are right. I hope LSU does land Joe McKnight. That guy is beast. I saw a lot of his games in person and he is that good.

Like a virus that spreads from one person to the other, from one culture to another, disloyalty is a vicious disease. Saban leaves LSU to coach in the NFL, not happy, but I can understand the reasons why, but to leave the Dolphins to go back to the collage ranks after only 2 years, not stupid, greed.
The NFL is infested with a team of disloyal teammates and now it is in the collage ranks. Saban was making 4.5 million with the Dolphins and will make a reported 32 mil. for 8 years making his yearly salary 4 mil. per year. So Saban did not go back because of the money, then it has to be whether the man can be honest or not.
My remedy, I hope Alabama wins every game under his tenor except for when he plays LSU. I want LSU to be the counter agent for the Saban disease. I would love to see LSU beat Saban in every aspect of the game making him wish he stayed with LSU.
Anyway, who is complaining with the job Miles is doing? I am not!

Les Miles deserves a lot of credit. LSU's schedules in even-numbered years are much, much more difficult on LSU than odd-numbered years because of the brutal road schedule.
In even-numbered years, Saban went to the Peach, Cotton and Capital One bowls. That's it, no BCS bowls. Miles goes to a BCS bowl after 2006, thumps the opponent for the second time in 2 years in a bowl, and is set to have a top 10 recruiting class. 11 wins 2 years in a row.
Yeah, most of the players were Saban's, but most of Saban's players were Dinardo's. BTW, in key moments of the season Trindon Holliday, Brandon LaFell, and Kieland Williams stepped up---Miles recruits. Watch out for Kieland Williams in his sophomore season. His progression was slowed this year because of that clearing house stuff at the beginning of camp. He is a beast.

I lost all respect for Satan , I mean he came on TV , and said I am not takin the Alabama job , lied to us all , and when u knew he had til 10 am to decide , you knew he was gone .
And to get the Dolphins owner to come out and do his dirty work , he s a azz , who I hope doesnt win a game at Bama ...
Lets see come play at Bama , as a freshman i might be here in 2-3 years or something better could come along like NDame , Fla St , or Penn St , that ll be a good recurriting pitch ..
And now he is sayin he knew nothing of the job til last Monday ,, Nik stopped the lying dude and go to Bama and **** ..
Seriously Brad get me a ticket for that game I m there ...

Yep. I love his press conference last week: " I am NOT taking the job at Alabama. Can I be more clear on that?". Well, yeah. Dont lie to the people. They are not stupid. Like the saying goes, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, well you're an arse Saban.

Saban is a liar he did it to LSU when he went to Miami and now he is an even more farce with this move, he reminds me of Larry Brown in the NBA. Very Disappointing
