It's been reported that Graham is looking for $12 mill/yr. You are Loomis, what would you do?
Give him the 12 mill per year
Give him Gronkowski money plus a little bit
Franchise tag him as a TE
Franchise tag him as a WR
Franchise tag him and try to trade him

Exclamation The SR.com 7 round "experts" Mock Draft

Quote:
UPDATE BOX
[size=2]

4/12: The draft is complete! Stay tuned for post draft contests and the tournament vote

And I say "experts" in the most lighthearted way possible . The only expert among us is draftfreak.

But I set this up via PM, with people who I know are fairly regular posters, and know their draft stuff, so hopefully it will move along better and smoother than your typical "post a thread and get whoever to sign up" type mock draft. I'd like to get all 7 rounds in.

Rules
- It will be a 7 round mock, including the recently released compensatory picks. We might not get to 7 rounds, but we'll get as far as we can.
- There will be a 4 hour time limit per pick. "Sleeping" hours don't count. The clock will run from 7am to 11pm, CST.
- If the 4 hours on a pick expires, any of a selected group of five people can make the pick for that team... whoever the first one to see it is. Those five are Loose Cannon, LSSpam, draftfreak, ok awesome, and Saint Greg. If you pass the time limit, we will possible look to find someone else to draft for that team from there on out.
- Trading picks is allowed. Trading players is not allowed. Both parties will have to verify the trade, publicly, in the thread BEFORE a pick can be made. IE, if I swap my 19th pick to LSSpam for his 24th pick (and some other pick), we must both post confirmation on the thread before he can make the pick at 19 that he just traded for.
- The Saints pick will be done with an 4 hour poll on the SSF. I will pick 20 (most the poll allows) players, and the Saints will draft the most popular.
- If a "real" trade is made in the NFL, it will be reflected in the draft, as long as all of the picks involved in the real trade are unpicked in our draft. AKA, if the Titans trade their 3rd round pick for a player, and we are in the second round, the trade will be reflected in our draft. If we are in the 5th round, however, it will not.
- While you can't trade current NFL players, you can trade players drafted in our draft, ala the Rivers/Manning deal.

Help make the draft run smoother and better
- If you have any chance of not being around for your pick, PM me with a list of choices, in order of preference. If you won't be around for a whole day or two, send me 8-10 picks. If it's just a few hours, send me 3-5.
- For educational purposes, include the player's name, his position (including which type, aka "OLB" instead of "LB", "CB" or "S" instead of "DB", etc. For tweeners, use something like "OT/OG"), his school, and a summary of why you picked this player. Even if it's just straight BPA, say so.
- Let's try not to use the full 4 hours for every pick

What this thread is for
- Making selections.
- Letting people know if you are looking to move up or down in the draft.
- General discussion/debate (civil) of the picks

Members that are not participating in the draft are still encouraged to discuss, debate, etc. It's all for fun.

The Titans (pick 19) are looking to discuss movement either way.

UP: To the 11-17 range, depending on who is there
DOWN: 22 on down, with no real back limit.

If you are looking to move up, we can tentatively talk about something if you are targeting a certain player, then if we come to an agreement, finalize it only if your guy is there.

Lists all of the picks, in order, including compensatory picks. This list is, so far as I am aware, is accurate and up-to-date up to the Atlanta-Houston trade.

This is the NFL draft value chart I use. All of the NFL draft value charts i've seen are virtually the same, so it probably doesn't matter which sites you use.

You still have Houston picking 8th and the Falcons 10th...

I changed it to that draft order link, Spam. I had just added the value chart when you posted it

As for trades, as long as a pick has not been made in that spot, the trade will apply to our draft. AKA, if we're in round 2, and the Titans trade their 4th round pick for a player, I lose that pick.

DWD, I fixed the Houston/Atlanta thing.

You guys are on top of it

Like I said in the rules, non-participants are encouraged to get involved, give advice/commentary/constructive criticism, whatever.

Added NFL Draft Countdown to the resources, eballa1

If you participate, be sure to participate in the Official [tm] SR.com Mock Draft Guru contest to be held prior to draft day.

I agree with Steve, as well. It helps the site out with costs and whatnot.

I'll enter the first round of this mock draft as my entry to the draft guru contest.

I'm way too excited about this.... I've been breaking down the Vikings roster since this whole thing started rolling this morning. I don't even like the Vikings! ...But they're lucky to have me.

Okay, Seattle is going to Saints fan in A. I never heard back from the others who I offered Seattle to.

We are now full up.
